Echeveria is one of the most loved types of succulents because of its gorgeous, rose-like shape and compact size. These desert gems store water in their thick leaves, making them incredibly tough and perfect for plant lovers who forget to water. Bright and Plenty of Light: Echeverias need at least 4 to 6 hours of bright light daily to maintain their tight, compact rosette shape. If kept in deep shade, the plant will stretch out and lose its beautiful rose look. Place them near a sunny windowsill or bright balcony spot.

The Golden "Soak and Dry" Watering Method: Over-watering is the easiest way to kill any succulent. Always wait until the potting soil is 100% bone dry before watering again. Pour water directly into the soil at the base, and never leave water trapped on top of the leaves, as it causes rotting.•

Extremely Well-Draining Soil Mix: Succulents hate soggy mud. Grow them in a lightweight, porous succulent mix containing a blend of cocopeat, perlite, and coarse sand. This ensures that any excess water drains out from the bottom holes immediately.

Keep in Small Containers: Succulents grow best in compact, small plastic or terracotta pots with good drainage holes (just like you see in our nursery tray stock). Large pots hold too much moisture, which can suffocate the delicate roots.

Handle with Care: The leaves of Echeveria are soft and can snap easily if handled roughly. When shifting or reporting them, gently hold the plant from the base or the roots rather than squeezing the beautiful rosette leaves.
